Events for 2026 planned by Border Kayak and Canoe Club
British Canoeing Sea Kayak Award. One of the club leaders is offering coaching and assessment of this award during the summer of 2026. Dates/venues to be determined.
Sea Kayak tour. In 2025 two club weekends away were organised. It is planned to do something similar this year, possibly camping, possibly in a hut or self-catering. Date and venue to be determined.
Events for 2026 planned by other bodies
Canny Paddlers Sea Kayak Symposium, Berwick, 22-25 May 2026. Canny Paddlers is a group of paddle clubs from Tyneside and Northumberland, they are organising a major event just south of Berwick-Upon-Tweed this year. Details on their website.
Flow State Anglesey Sea Kayak Festival, Anglesey, 2-4th October 2026. Recommended by one of our club coaches, and we are hoping to offer some club activities in the area during the week after the festival. https://www.flowstateadventures.com/anglesey-festival
